Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing is an important tool for Kvika both for daily operations and growth. When Kvika and CoreMotif started collaborating on the data warehouse it had grown organically over a number of years and Kvika felt that it was time to refresh the warehouse. Therefore, Kvika and CoreMotif set about to redefine how the data warehouse was built, operated and maintained in addition to how governance related to the data warehouse should be handled.

“We contacted CoreMotif regarding assistance with our data warehouse. Together we defined a project aimed at a holistic overhaul of the warehouse. We started with an extensive analysis of the current state, pinpointing a handful of areas we could improve immediately. Following that we started refactoring and improving the data warehouse, both with regard to performance and usability. We refactored and cleaned out obsolete code to make everything more streamlined and easier to use and navigate.
